You'll begin with a brief stop at the Umana Yana, where you can snap photos and learn about its cultural significance. From there, you’ll have the option to explore the Guyana National Museum, home to fascinating artifacts, including the country’s first sample of oil and items dating back to the 1900s. At the 1763 Monument, you’ll pause to hear the powerful story behind this national symbol and take memorable photos. As you pass by Stabroek Market, you’ll get a glimpse of local life in one of the city’s busiest trading hubs, with the option to stop and purchase fresh, seasonal fruits. A visit to St. George’s Cathedral offers insight into the history and architecture of one of the world’s tallest wooden churches, with time to admire its stunning interior. Finally, you’ll pass the historic Georgetown Lighthouse, where you'll learn about its role in Guyana’s maritime history, though entry is restricted for safety reasons.
