The journey begins with your arrival in Georgetown, followed by a scenic flight to Lethem. From there, a 4x4 transports you to the rainforest's edge near Parishara village, where you'll meet your experienced indigenous guides and learn essential bush camping skills like hammock setup, jungle safety, and machete use. The core of the expedition involves an adventurous trek into the mountains to the remote Paimu Falls, a rarely visited area teeming with diverse wildlife and flora. Here, you'll camp by the crystal-clear pool, hone your wilderness skills (fire lighting, fishing, tracking, spearfishing), and explore the surroundings.

The adventure transitions to a river journey after a final hike to Salipenta Landing on the Rupununi River. You'll board small boats for a captivating ride into the secluded Mapari River, leading to the pristine Mapari Wilderness Camp, renowned for its abundant wildlife. Days at Mapari Falls are dedicated to wildlife observation, with opportunities to spot species like the Harpy Eagle and Goliath bird-eating spider. Activities are flexible, allowing you to choose between hiking, fishing, relaxing by waterfalls, or embarking on dawn/dusk river drifts and night hikes for nocturnal species.

The expedition concludes with a scenic boat descent along the Mapari and Rupununi Rivers, transitioning from mountains to savannahs while keeping an eye out for wildlife.
